Martín L. Basch, Ph.D.

Dr. Basch, a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, received his degree of  Licenciado en Ciencias Biológicas from the School of Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires. He earned his doctorate in 2004 working on Early Neural Crest Specification, Induction and Competence in Dr. Marianne Bronner’s lab at the California Institute of Technology. He started his postdoctoral training in the laboratories of Dr. Neil Segil and Dr. Andrew Groves at House Ear Institute in Los Angeles, and later become an instructor in Dr. Groves’ lab at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Basch joined the department of Otolaryngoloy at CWRU School of Medicine in May 2015.

 

 

 

Stephen Harrington

Stephen  is an undergraduate pre-health student at Case Western Reserve University. He spends his free time volunteering at Fairview Hospital and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. He is also a member of the pre-health fraternity Phi Delta Epsilon.  Stephen is also an avid runner and enjoys binge-watching movies

Andrea is a second-year student Biochemistry major at Case Western Reserve University. Andrea is also minoring in Japanese and Film. She plays the violin and the piano. She likes to eat, sleep, and watch TV, and read suspense and mystery novels. Her favorite dessert is crepe cake.

 

Laura Sprunt

Laura is a senior biology and spanish student at CWRU. She is returning to Cleveland after spending a semester studying in Salamanca, Spain. In addition to working in the lab, she loves her job as a tour guide. Laura likes watching baseball and tennis, baking, and exploring Cleveland.

 

Bryan Choi

Bryan is a senior Biochemistry major and Chinese minor student at Case Western Reserve University.  Happy Dog is his favorite late night hot dog place at campus.  He likes to swim, cook, skateboard and dance.  He is recently learning how to play an acoustic guitar, hoping to master Spanish song called 'Romanza..
